Personnel Committee Meeting Minutes

Wednesday 28 September 2022 at 6.45pm at St Andrews Community Centre, Saxilby.

Members Present:
Cllrs Cotton, Harper (arrived 6.50pm), Mann, and Spurr (arrived at 6.55pm)

Absent:
Cllr Crump 

In Attendance:
Lydia Hopton, Parish Clerk 
Zarina Belk, Assistant Clerk
There were no members of the public in attendance.


Public Questions

There were none.


Committee Meeting

Meeting started at 6.51pm

025/22 To receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the clerk prior to the meeting
No apologies were received.

 

026/22 To receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011
Lydia Hopton and Zarina Belk declared an prejudicial interest in item Ref 030/22.

 

027/22 To approve the notes of the Personnel Committee meeting held on 6 July 2022, and the chairman to sign them as the agreed minutes
Cllr Mann proposed the notes meeting as minutes and this was resolved.

 

028/22 CLOSED SESSION – Council to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following item(s) on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
It was proposed by Cllr Cotton and resolved to move into closed session.

 

029/22 To consider a letter requesting a change in working hours and agree recommendations to Full Council

Cllr Spurr arrived at 6.55pm

Cllr Mann proposed a change of working hours for recommendation to full council and for the clerk to collate further information. This was resolved. 

The clerk and assistant clerk left the room.

030/22 To approve the clerk and assistant clerk’s leave as per Terms of Reference (5.7)
Cllr Cotton proposed the clerk and assistant clerks leave be approved. This was resolved.

The clerk and assistant clerk returned to the room.


The meeting closed at 7.24pm.
