Personnel Committee Meeting Minutes
Wednesday 8th March 2022 at 7:00pm at St Andrews Community Centre, Saxilby.

There were no members of the public in attendance.

Personnel Committee Meeting
001/22 To receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the clerk prior to the meeting
Apologies and valid reasons for absence had been received from Cllrs Cotton and Harper, and these were resolved.
002/22 To receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011
There were none.
003/22 To approve the notes of the Personnel Committee meeting held on 1 December 2021, and the chairman to sign them as the agreed minutes
These were proposed by Cllr Mann and resolved.
004/22 CLOSED SESSION – Council to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following item(s) on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
It was proposed by Cllr Spurr and resolved to move into closed session.
005/22 To recommend the Grounds Operative appointment to full council
This was proposed by Cllr Spurr and resolved.
006/22 To agree arrangements for the clerk’s appraisal
It was proposed by Cllr Spurr that she and Cllr Mann would complete the appraisal and a provisional date and time was suggested, pending agreement by the clerk, and this was resolved.
007/22 To note the NJC pay award (effective from 1 April 2021) and recommend ratification by full council
This was proposed by Cllr Mann and resolved.
008/22 To receive feedback from the HR Compliance audit and agree actions
This was proposed by Cllr Crump and resolved.
009/22 To review the job evaluation report and make recommendations to full council
Cllr Spurr proposed that items a-c were accepted and item d is referred to Finance Committee and this was resolved.
010/22 To consider introduction training agreements for staff and make a recommendation to Full Council
Cllr Mann proposed that training agreements be implemented within specific guidelines, and this was resolved.
The meeting closed at 8:06pm.
