Extra-Ordinary Full Council Meeting Minutes
Wednesday 11th November 2020 at 6.45pm

Under the Local Authorities (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority Meeting) (England) Regulations 2020, this meeting was held by video conference.

Members Present:
Cllrs Cavill, Crump, Hewes, Hillman, Hughes, Spurr, Stafford (Chairman), J Willox and I Willox

Absent:
Cllrs Ashton Derry, Broxholme, Cotton, Ives

In Attendance:
Lydia Smithson, Assistant Clerk

There were no members of the public in attendance.

Full Council Meeting

204/20 To receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the Clerk prior to the meeting
Apologies and a valid reason for absence had been received from Cllrs Ashton Derry, Cotton, Ives and Broxholme and these were accepted.


205/20 To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011
None given.


206/20 Closed Session – Council to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) act 1960 for the following items, on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
It was proposed by Cllr Crump and resolved to go into closed session. 


207/20 To consider staffing proposals, following recent government Covid-19 announcements.
1. Recommendation one in the report was not proposed and therefore not resolved.
2. Cllr Hewes made a proposal to update recommendation two to remove ‘until the end of the financial year’ and replace with ‘and review monthly as outlined in Proposal 1’. This was resolved. 
3. Cllr Hewes made a proposal to update recommendation three to remove ‘until the end of the financial year’ and replace with ‘and review monthly as outlined in Proposal 1’. This was resolved. 
4. Cllr Spurr made a further related proposal, and this was resolved. 

The meeting closed at 7.31pm.
