F26/067 1. Agree Chair of the Committee

Having been proposed (Cllr Crump) and seconded (Cllr Bridge), it was RESOLVED:

To appoint Cllr Waller as Chair of the Finance and Risk Committee for the municipal year 2026/27.

 

F26/068 2. Agree Vice-Chair of the Committee

Having been proposed (Cllr Waller) and seconded (Cllr Bridge), it was RESOLVED:

To appoint Cllr Wheatley as Vice-Chair of the Finance and Risk Committee for the municipal year 2026/27.

 

F26/069 3. Note apologies for absence

Apologies were noted from Cllrs Saunders, Barratt.

 

F26/070 4. 4. Receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011

Members were asked to declare the existence and nature of any interests in accordance with the Localism Act 2011, including whether the interest was a Disclosable Pecuniary Interest (DPI), Other Registerable Interest, or Non-Registerable Interest.

It was noted that the Finance and Risk Committee meeting scheduled for 17 June 2026 was not held due to the meeting being inquorate.

Having been proposed (Cllr Wheatley) and seconded (Cllr Bridge), it was RESOLVED:

To approve the verified bank reconciliations for May 2026 and authorise the Chair to sign the bank reconciliation and bank statements.

Having been proposed (Cllr Waller) and seconded (Cllr Wheatley), it was RESOLVED:

To approve the journals and virements as presented.

Committee to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following item on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
