Three minutes per member of public or organisation. When members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the council. Those items not on the agenda will not be debated but referred, if appropriate, to the next meeting.

1. Receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the clerk prior to the meeting

2. Receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 (these can also be declared during the meeting if an item comes up where a councillor has an interest) 

3. Approve the notes as minutes and the chair to sign: 

a. 07 June 2023 Full Council 

b. 28 June 2023 Extra-Ordinary Full Council 

4. Review the action log

 

Community 

5. Agree actions regarding a request for the date of siting the Christmas tree 

6. Approve the finance committee recommendation regarding the change in library opening times

7. To agree a second council trustee for Saxilby’s Recreation Ground Charity 

8. To consider installing a fence on Westcroft boundary 

 

Finance and Risk

9. To review the recreation ground project list 

10. Burials headstone paper

 

To review and approve council documents (annual reviews, as per Standing Orders)

11. Review of subscriptions and memberships of, and work with, external bodies (deferral 23-05) 

12. Dignity at work policy (deferral 23-06)

13. Risk Management Policy

14. Health & Safety Booklet, including statement of intent and policy

Closed session

15. Council to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following item(s) on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

16. To consider and agree a quote for fire alarm works (smoke detector - internal staircase, wall sounder and beacon - disabled toilet, and heat detector - kitchen)
