1. Elect a chair
Having been proposed (Cllr Hughes) and seconded (Cllr Saunders), it was RESOLVED:
To elect Cllr Hillman as chair.
2. Elect a vice-chair
Having been proposed (Cllr Hughes) and seconded (Martin Furnish), it was RESOLVED:
To elect Cllr Saunders as vice-chair.
3. Welcome and introductions
Cllr Hillman welcomed everyone to the meeting.
4. Receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence
Apologies received from Luke Brown, Pete Crowther, and Paul Roberts.
5. To receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011
None received.
6. To approve notes of the Saxilby with Ingleby Neighbourhood Plan Review Steering Group meeting for 19 March 2024 and 24 April 2024 and the chair to sign them as agreed minutes
Deferred.
7. Update on the Design Code document
The design code document has been circulated and approved by locality.
8. Update on the Housing Need Assessment
Housing Need Assessment has been sent to locality for approval. No response has been received as yet.
9. To review and finalise any outstanding actions on:
a. Biodiversity
Deferred.
b. Heritage
Martin Furnish updated the group on photographs missing from Church Road and Lincoln Road.
c. Climate change
Deferred.
d. Local green spaces
Completed.
e. Footpaths
Completed.
f. Community facilities
The community facilities list has been updated.
g. The list of community projects and assets of community value
Cllr Hillman to meet with Laura Thompson (Administrative Officer) to update and move forward.
h. Mapping
Cllr Hillman to check how much mapping has been completed to date, as the officer working with the group on this item is now not available.
i. Preparation of the draft Neighbourhood Plan
Update received.
10. To discuss and agree any actions for the next public consultation
The group discussed arrangements for the public consultation, and agreed that:
a. A meeting should take place at Saxilby Village Hall on a Saturday morning, possi-bly coinciding with the monthly market.
b. A meeting should take place in September, and offer some incentive to residents to attend, for example refreshments and a prize draw.
c. Flyers should be sent to all households in the village, and posters should be placed around the village to publicise the meeting.
d. A number of interactive stands should be present at the meeting, each hosted by a member of the working group and addressing various elements of the NDP (Herit-age, mapping, climate change, biodiversity, footpaths, green spaces, the design code, and housing need).
e. Residents should be consulted on what new community projects they would like to see in the village
