PS24/010 1 Receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the clerk prior to the meeting.
Having been proposed (Cllr Hewes) and seconded (Cllr Hughes), it was RESOLVED the: 
Reasons for absence were accepted for Cllrs Barratt, Roberts, and Spurr.
 
PS24/011 2 Receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011
The clerk declared a prejudicial interest in item 7 (PS24/016).
 
PS24/012 3 Action Log
Deferred.
 
PS24/013 4 Annual review of the staff handbook and feedback comments to the clerk.
Having been proposed (Cllr Hewes) and seconded (Cllr Waller), it was RESOLVED to: 
Approve the staff handbook.
 
PS24/014 5 Approve the notes of the personnel committee meeting held on 07 February 2024 and the chairman to sign them as the agreed minutes.
Deferred.
 
PS24/15 6 CLOSED SESSION – Council to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following item(s) on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
Having been proposed (Cllr Hewes) and seconded (Cllr Hughes), it was RESOLVED to: 
Move into closed session.
 
The clerk left the room at 18:48.
 
PS24/016 7 Make recommendation(s) to full council regarding a staffing matter
Deferred for further information (in-line with Term of Reference 4.7). Bring back to next personnel committee.
 
The clerk returned to the room at 18:56.
 
PS24/017 8 Receive the HR compliance report and make recommendations to full council 
The report was received. Two errors were flagged for correction by the HR company.
 
The meeting closed at 19:11.
