There were no members of the public in attendance.

There were none.
Personnel Committee Meeting
014/21 To receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the clerk prior to the meeting
Apologies and valid reasons for absence had been received from Cllrs Cotton, Crump and Ives, and these were accepted.
015/21 To receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011
There were none.
016/21 To approve the notes of the Personnel Committee meeting held on 12 May 2021, and the chairman to sign them as the agreed minutes
These were proposed by Cllr Harper and resolved.
017/21 CLOSED SESSION – Council to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following item(s) on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.
It was proposed by Cllr Spurr and resolved to move into closed session.
018/21 To consider a staffing matter
It was proposed by Cllr Mann and resolved to commission a job evaluation exercise, subject to an outstanding quote coming through; for the Chairman of the Council to give authorisation to proceed (within permitted authority to spend), and retrospective approval of the decision at January’s Full Council.
The meeting closed at 7:06pm.
