Meeting

 

PS24/018 1. Elect the chair of the committee

Having been proposed (Cllr Waller) and seconded (Cllr Barratt), it was RESOLVED to: 

Elect Cllr Waller as chair of the committee.

 

PS24/019 2. Elect the vice-chair of the committee

Having been proposed (Cllr Barratt) and seconded (Cllr Waller), it was RESOLVED to: 

Elect Cllr Barratt as vice-chair of the committee.

 

PS24/020 3. Receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence

Having been proposed (Cllr Barratt) and seconded (Cllr Saunders), it was RESOLVED to: 

Accept apologies for absence from Cllr Crump and Cllr Hughes.

 

PS24/021 4. Receive declarations of interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 

The clerk declared a pecuniary interest in item 10.

Approve the notes of the 07 February 2024 personnel committee meeting as minutes.

 

PS24/024 7. 03 April 2024 

Having been proposed (Cllr Waller) and seconded (Cllr Saunders), it was RESOLVED to: 

Approve the notes of the 03 April 2024 personnel committee meeting as minutes. 

 

PS24/025 8. Closed Session: Committee to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following item(s) on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

Having been proposed (Cllr Barratt) and seconded (Cllr Saunders), it was RESOLVED to: 

Enter closed session.

 

PS24/026 9. Make recommendations to full council regarding a staff contract

Having been proposed (Cllr Waller) and seconded (Cllr Barratt), it was RESOLVED to: 

Recommend to full council updates to a staff contract.

 

PS24/027 10. Make recommendations to full council regarding staff increments

The clerk left the room at 18:53.

 

Recommendation one:

Having been proposed (Cllr Barratt) and seconded (Cllr Saunders), it was RESOLVED to: 

Recommend to full council proposals regarding staff increments.

 

The clerk returned 19:03.

 

Recommendation two:

Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr Barratt), it was RESOLVED to: 

Recommend to full council proposals regarding staff increments.

 

PS24/028 11. Make recommendations to full council regarding a staffing matter

No proposals were made to full council.
