P24/069 1. Receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the clerk prior to the meeting.
Having been proposed (Cllr Hillman) and seconded (Cllr Waller), it was RESOLVED to:
Accept the apologies for Cllrs Crump and J Willox.

P24/075 7. Consider and agree further actions regarding the condition of the former Bridge Inn
Having been proposed (Cllr Hillman) and seconded (Cllr Saunders), it was RESOLVED to:
Refer the matter back to planning enforcement quoting section 125, to include photos and also to include environmental enforcement.
P24/076 8. Consider and recommend to full council expenditure for latest Community Infrastrucutre Levy of £2,128.39 (01 October 2023 to 31 March 2024. Ref 142772 Land at, 8, Mill Lane, Saxilby, Lincoln, LN1 2QD Planning application for extension & remodelling of existing bungalow, and erect 1no. 1.5 storey bungalow including garaging & home offices
Having been proposed (Cllr Waller) and seconded (Cllr Hughes), it was RESOLVED to:
Spend the CIL on doors and windows in the refurbishment of bridge street toilets which is a council priority project.
P24/077 9. Consider Lincolnshire County Council’s recently reviewed the speed limits on the A57 at Saxilby and provide any feedback
Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr Hughes), it was RESOLVED to:
Fully support the scheme and to strongly request that the SID is moved accordingly. This is paramount with the new cycle track.

a. Request for a site visit from Highways to review the parking along Bridge Street from Canal Court to Queensway and discuss options
Having been proposed (Cllr Waller) and seconded (Cllr Barratt), it was RESOLVED to:
Request double yellow lines for the corner of Bridge Place from Highways.

Having been proposed (Cllr Hughes) and seconded (Cllr Waller), it was RESOLVED to:
Request for Highways to have a site visit to assess parking along Bridge Street (from Canal Court to Queensway)
c. Request for a new black dog bin to replace the old bin across the footbridge
Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr Barratt), it was RESOLVED to:
Request a new black dog bin to replace the dog bin across the footbridge.
d. Request to apply for Tesco Stay Stronger grant and to set up the Community Lottery
Having been proposed (Cllr Waller) and seconded (Cllr Hughes), it was RESOLVED to:
Apply for the Tesco Stay Stronger grant and to set up the Community Lottery.
e. Accept the offers of benches for the top towpath
Having been proposed (Cllr Hughes) and seconded (Cllr Barratt), it was RESOLVED to:
Accept the offer of a ‘salmon’ fishing bench and base by LDAA and a ‘robin’ bench with a plaque donated by a local family.
f. Liaise with the Co-op regarding re-siting of the village mosaic
Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr Waller), it was RESOLVED to:
Liaise with the Co-op regarding the possibility of siting of the mosaic on land in front of the Co-op pharmacy.
P24/083 15. D-Day 80 Co-ordination
a. Including discuss and propose location for D-Day commemoration tree
Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr I Willox), it was RESOLVED to:
Plant a commemorative tree and plaque in the Garden for the Fallen, subject to agreement from Lovells, with the junction of Field Avenue and Bramble Lane as a reserve location.
b. Committee members to support the event in line with the council’s community engagement objective
