P24/165 1. Receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the clerk prior to the meeting.
Having been proposed (Cllr Hillman) and seconded (Cllr Saunders), it was RESOLVED to:
accept apologies from Cllr Hughes Cllr Waller and Cllr J Willox.

P24/165 5. Approve planning committee meeting notes as minutes for 21 August2024
Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr Hughes) it was RESOLVED to:
Approve the planning committee meeting notes as minutes for 21 August 2024 as minutes.
P24/0166 6. To note the biodiversity duty and agree next steps, including consideration of resourcing
Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr Hughes) it was RESOLVED to:
Establish a plan after liaising with the grounds team and to consider any costs when discussing the budget.
P24/167 7. Consider correspondence from a resident to request that LCC reduce the speed limit to 30MPH on the A57
Having been proposed (Cllr Hillman) and seconded (Cllr J Willox) it was RESOLVED to:
Make a request to LCC to reduce the speed limit on the stretch of road (map) to reduce it to 30MPH and also to put on fix my street to replace the sign on Broadholme on A57 and the lighting control box and the trees and to send a letter to Cllr Brockway and to the resident to say we are supporting the proposal and our actions.

P24/169 9. Consider a response to the Lincolnshire Minerals and Waste Local Plan: Preferred approach consultation
Having been proposed (Cllr Hillman) and seconded (Cllr Barratt) it was RESOLVED to:
Look at the letter, send in any comments by mid-day Monday. Then it can be collated for a response.

Note the update and agree that Cllr Hillman would write the foreword.

Agree to receive the update.
Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr Hughes) it was RESOLVED to:
To agree an official opening, suggest that it be on a Saturday morning or any time on a weekend, and a letter be sent out to Mr & Mrs Willox and Ms Hopton asking if they would like to do the official opening. Cllr Brockway to be asked to say a few words.

P24/174 14. NDP Project 4.0 Saxilby Waterfront Working Group
Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr J Willox) it was RESOLVED to:
For the council to purchase a fish.
Having been proposed (Cllr Hillman) and seconded (Cllr Barratt) it was RESOLVED to:
It was agreed to contact the WLDC Conservation Officer, Heritage Lincolnshire and District Council Brockway for support in replacing the current streetlights back to the heritage lights with LED’s so it is energy efficient, but in keeping with the areas conservation status.
P24/175 15. NDP Para 102 Saxilby Speed Watch Scheme
Verbal update, we have one volunteer from the family fun day.
P24/176 16. Retail Grant Project. To receive the update and note progress and agree to apply to CRT for the shoal of fish artwork to be installed on the canal side.
Received and noted. Councillors thanked officers for a well organised event.
