Saxilby Waterfront Working Group meeting

Welcome and Introduction

1. To approve notes of 13 July 2023 and 6 October 2023 as minutes and the chair to sign them
Deferred.
2. To receive an update of the Waterfront Festival fundraising
Deferred.
3. To receive an update of the Waterfront budget
Deferred.
4. To discuss and make recommendations to planning committee for Christmas decorations along the Waterfront
A general discussion on Christmas Lights was held. Agenda item to be added to the next meeting.
5. To receive an update of the Terms of Reference
To be circulated to the group and it will be reviewed in May 2024.

7. Refurbishment of the public facilities
The questionnaire is now closed and will be put into a report and used for grant applications. The next step is to apply for grants.
8. The footbridge refurbishment including feedback from site visit
Feedback was given from a site visit by the parish council to Universal Coatings. The footbridge will be back in two weeks.
9. Refurbishment of Mosaic
The artist has removed all the cement from most of the tiles. There are a few tiles left which will be completed.
10. Cycle track update
All landowners have now signed the legal paperwork. Now looking at 2024 to complete the project.
11. Chrysanthemums from the planters
There are between 20 to 30 pots of plants now and there needs to be a plan on how to sell them on. Bring item back to the next meeting.
12. Queensway Bus shelter
Noted.
