1. Present and Apologies for Absence

Cllr E.Bowden chaired the meeting.

2. Receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011

3. Approve meeting notes as minutes for 29 October 2025
Having been proposed (Cllr E.Bowden) and seconded (Cllr Wheatley) it was RESOLVED to:
Approve meeting notes as minutes for 29 October 2025.
4. Approve meeting notes as minutes for 14 January 2026
Deferred.

5. Approve vision and design brief for active zone (action plan ref 2)
Having been proposed (Cllr E.Bowden) and seconded (Cllr Shepherd) it was RESOLVED to:
Approved the vision and design brief with the following changes:
a. ‘Nearly a quarter of respondents’ – change to ‘a number of respondents’
b. Cllr Shepherd to share an introduction to be added in
c. Provide engaging play for ages ‘2–15’ update to ‘2-12’
d. Switch ACTIVE ZONE (Play, Movement & Teen Provision) and Core Requirements header
e. Remove two cost options and create a £30,000 option – with providers to provide a full breakdown split into children and adults
f. Delete – ‘Natural play features - grass mounds \ landform play’
g. Add visual plan with indicative measurements drafted by Cllr E.Bowden
6. Agree contractors to contact regarding the project (action plan ref 2)

Having been proposed (Cllr Bridge) and seconded (Cllr Shepherd) it was RESOLVED to:
Agree an initial single £30,000 budget to aim for.
8. Discuss relaxation zone visual and agree next steps (action plan ref R1)
Having been proposed (Cllr Bridge) and seconded (Cllr E.Bowden) it was RESOLVED:
For the following recommendations for Northfield Area:
1. Bench and concrete base including space at the sides for pushchairs/wheelchairs
2. Native trees (autumn), Bulbs planting (autumn), and sensory planting with Cllrs E.Bowden and S.Bowden to speak to a nursery.
3. To send letter to residents around green space with draft plan
4. For signage regarding being a quiet area and info about planting
