Image of a sculpted shoal of stainless steel fish

Design a fish and be a part of our unique community sculpture!

Join us in creating a unique community sculpture!

Local sculptor, James Sutton, will create over 100 stainless steel fish which will be installed together on the canal bank as a stunning shoal. Local school children and older residents have already designed some of these beautiful fish as part of an intergenerational project, fully funded by West Lindsey's Large Village Retail Grant, and now you can get involved too!

Rough sketch of the sculpture location

Here's how it works:

1. Purchase a fish via the Ticketsource website. Each fish costs £45, which covers materials, installation, and the sculptor's time.
2. Download the template here, or collect a printed copy from Saxilby Library during opening hours.
3. Once you've completed your design, simply scan and email it to us, or bring it to the parish office (upstairs in St Andrews Community Centre)
4. Don't forget to clearly display your ticket number on your template, or add it in your email.

Cash payments can be taken at the parish office (upstairs in St Andrews Community Centre) during office opening hours (Tuesday and Friday, 9.15 - 3.15).

All designs must be received by Friday, 25 October.

Design Guidance
Bold, creative designs are the most effective for the fish, drawn with a chunky pen.
Letters/words, small details and intricate designs cannot be transferred onto the stainless steel.
