An update on the feasibility study into the long-term leasing of St Andrews Community Centre
The council is nearing the completion of the agreed feasibility process for leasing the community centre; a process which was agreed in March.
The feasibility study has been received from the independent consultant.
A full structural survey (including the roof) has been completed, with the report expected imminently.
The public consultation has been carried out. Analysis of the results is taking place, and is due to be completed in December.
Negotiations with the Saxilby Public Recreation Ground Charity will begin very shortly.
Alternative options and costings are due in December.
Once all information above has been received, and negotiations have taken place, the council will then make a decision as to whether or not to sign a long-term lease for the community centre.
