Following reaching funding targets for the new MUGA, we are pleased to announce that a contractor for the works has been chosen and a start date of w/c Monday, 9 March 2026 has been confirmed.
After an extensive tender process, Fosse Contracts Ltd were selected to carry out the build process for the MUGA.
The build will take place over spring, and we’ll continue to provide regular updates as the build progresses.
Disruption is expected to Saxilby Public Recreation Ground Car Park whilst the build is underway. We’d like to thank residents for their understanding and patience with this matter and thank Saxilby Public Recreation Ground Trustees for their support.
We’d also like to once again thank the companies and groups who have provided funding for this project: Lovell Homes, the FCC Communities Foundation, West Lindsey District Council, Saxilby Sports Hub, and Lincolnshire Co-operative Community Champions. Without their support, this project would not be going ahead.
