Saxilby and Ingleby Voluntary Car Service are looking for volunteers
The Saxilby and Ingleby Voluntary Car Service (SVCS) has been running since 2008 and provides much needed transport for the elderly and infirm to attend medical appointments.
The SVCS continued to operate throughout 2020 and the Covid 19 pandemic, and once the vaccine programme got underway they were as busy as ever.
However their driver numbers are down and they are looking for new volunteers to help carry out this vital service. The commitment is not onerous and expenses are paid to drivers for any trips they make.
