We're delighted to share the news that the wheeled park project has been completed with the finishing touches, ticking off another community project from the Neighbourhood Development Plan.
- A new bin has now been installed
- Two new benches have been installed around the park, replacing the old bench that was on site.
- A second path connecting to the park has been installed, allowing for clean safe access to the park from two sides.
- The grass matting has been installed and is bedding in well with the grass growing through. This has reduced the muddy areas around the Wheeled Park and makes it useable throughout the year.
Thanks go to Bingham Ground Services, Moulds Fencing and Freestyle for their work on the project which was funded wholly by external contributions (and no council tax) - thank you Sport England, Lindum Homes, and Stirlin Developments. - Details of an opening ceremony for the Wheeled Park will be announced shortly.
