The new street furniture in the Saxilby Waterfront Conservation Area

A new noticeboard, gateway sign and bench have been installed at Saxilby Waterfront.

  • The noticeboard was funded by donations from local resident Barry Clements, Chiselwood Ltd, and the Saxilby Mystery Group.
  • The gateway sign was funded by donations at the 2019 Waterfront Festival and a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) contribution.
  • The bench was funded by a donation from a local family in remembrance of a loved one who had lived in Saxilby.

The bench is double sided to allow people to sit to wait for a bus or to enjoy the waterfront view.

The Bridge Street Working Group would like to thank all those who have donated towards these items of street furniture.

A second gateway sign will be installed at the western end of the conservation area soon.

If you would like to make a donation to a village project such as the waterfront regeneration project, please contact the council office on: 01522 703912 or email: assistant@saxilbyparishcouncil.co.uk
