Throughout September, two joint meetings have been held between council members and trustees of the recreation ground charity.
The second meeting also included representatives of Saxilby Tennis Club.
Following September's full council meeting it was agreed to extend the deadline for completion of the project to March 31 2023. In this intervening period, the community centre, facilities, and services will continue to operate as usual.
More joint meetings are due to be held throughout October as the project continues to progress and updates will be provided as they become available.
