Throughout November and December the parish council and Recreation Ground Trustees have held joint meetings with sports clubs who use the facilities.
Clubs met with included: the football teams, Saxilby Tennis Club, Saxilby Bowls club, and Saxilby Cricket Club, to discuss the hand back process and how this will affect the sports clubs going forward.
Topics discussed included changing room provision and pitch/facility maintenance, and the implementation of Service Level Agreements.
Further meetings will be held with clubs in February to provide the clubs to continue the work.
Meanwhile the hand back project has been progressing with regular, meetings between councillors, charity trustees and council officers.
