Wednesday 19 April 2023 at 6.45pm at

St Andrews Community Centre, Saxilby.

Committee Meeting 

 

F23/025 Receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the clerk prior to the meeting.

Apologies were received from Cllr Cotton and Cllr Mann and these were accepted.

 

F23/026 Receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011

None. 

 

F23/027 Approve the notes of the Finance Committee meeting held on 15 March 2023 and the chair to sign them as the agreed minutes. 

The draft minutes were proposed by Cllr Hewes and resolved.

F23/029 Internal audit report (March month end) 

Cllr Hewes proposed the clerk arrange a meeting with the auditor to confirm the wording as there was some confusion to the wording of item 2 and item 45.

 

F23/030 Absence of RFO and end of year close down. 

Noted.

F23/031 Income and expenditure report

Cllr Hewes proposed the report and it was resolved.

 

F23/032 Verified bank reconciliations

Cllr Harper proposed the verified bank reconciliations and it was resolved.

 

F23/033 List of payments, income, and transfers

The list of payments, income, and transfers was proposed by Cllr Hewes and resolved.

 

F23/034 CLOSED SESSION – Committee to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following item on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

It was proposed Cllr Harper, to go into closed session, which was resolved.  

It was proposed by Cllr Hewes that non-committee member Cllr Meanwell remain in the meeting. This was resolved.

 

F23/035 To review outstanding sales receipts due and agree actions as required.

Deferred to next meeting.
