Finance Committee Meeting Minutes

Wednesday 18 January 2023 at 6.45pm

There were no members of the public in attendance.

 

Public Questions

There were none.

 

Committee Meeting 

F23/001 Receive apologies and accept valid reasons for absence, these having been submitted to the clerk prior to the meeting.

Apologies were received from Cllr Cotton, which were accepted.

 

F23/002 Receive declarations of interest (Localism Act 2011)

None.

 

F23/003 Approve the notes of the 21 December 2022 finance committee meeting and the chair to sign them as the agreed minutes.

Cllr Hillman proposed the notes as minutes. This was resolved.

F23/004 Meeting action log

The action log was noted.

 

F23/005 Three monthly update sent to the external auditor as per auditor report action.

The committee noted the action. 

 

F23/006 December 2022 (month nine) income and expenditure report and agree budget virements as required

Cllr Hewes proposed the budget virements. This was resolved. 

 

F23/007 Budget projections for 2022-23

Deferred until February.

 

To approve the December 2022 (month nine):  

F23/008 Verified bank reconciliations 

Cllr Harper proposed the December bank reconciliation. This was resolved.

 

F23/009 List of payments, income, and transfers  

Cllr Mann proposed the December list of payments, income, and transfers to be signed. This was resolved.

 

F23/010 CLOSED SESSION – Committee to resolve to go into closed session in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admissions to Meetings) Act 1960 for the following items on the grounds that publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted.

Cllr Harper proposed to go into closed session. This was resolved.

 

F23/010 To note timesheet data 

This was noted.  Cllr Hillman requested more headings for projects like trustees and NDP to be added in.

 

F23/011To review outstanding sales receipts due and agree actions if required.

The committee reviewed the outstanding sales receipts. No action required.

 

The meeting closed at 19:30pm.
