Westcroft Green Space Working Group Meeting Minutes
Wednesday 29 October 2025, 10:30am
Meeting Room, St Andrews Community Centre, William Street, Saxilby, LN1 2LP.
1. Present and Apologies for Absence
Present:
Cllrs E Bowden, S Bowden, and Saunders.
In Attendance:
Lydia Hopton, Clerk
Helen Sutton, Consultant
Apologies:
Cllrs Shepherd, Truscott, Wheatley and Waller
2. Declarations of Interest
None given.
3. Approval of Previous Minutes
Having been proposed (Cllr S.Bowden) and seconded (Cllr Saunders) it was RESOLVED to:
Approve the notes of the meeting held on 22 August 2025 as minutes and they were signed by the Chair.
4. Consultation Plan V3
The group reviewed version three of the consultation plan, with amended timelines.
Having been proposed (Cllr E.Bowden) and seconded (Cllr S.Bowden) it was RESOLVED to:
a. Recommend the updated consultation plan to the Planning and Development Committee for ratification, with updated dates for Have your Say Consultation Events and
b. Agreed 2-3pm Sun 7 Dec for Westcroft on-site consultation and the clerk to share the date and ask for WG members availability to attend with the consultant.
5. Draft Project Plan Development
Having been proposed (Cllr Saunders) and seconded (Cllr S.Bowden) it was RESOLVED for:
Cllrs E.Bowden, Cllr Shepherd, Cllr Truscott, and Cllr Wheatley to work with the consultant on drafting a project plan, including SMART goals, in-line with Term of Reference 10.4 and send an open invite to other cllrs, with a draft to be brought to the December Working Group meeting.
6. Future Meeting Dates
The following dates were agreed:
a. Wednesday 10 December 2025 10.30am - To receive draft project plan.
b. Wednesday 14 January 2026 10.30am - To receive consultation report from consultant.
