The fifth week of construction on the new Saxilby and District Wheeled Park has seen our contractors complete the physical construction of the park.

This week they have been landscaping around the structure of the park, applying grass seed to the landscaped areas, taking equipment away from the site and tidying up the area.

The site was officially handed back to the Parish Council on Wednesday and the park has passed its play area inspection today and is now available for use by the public - please avoid the surrounding soil whilst the grass grows.

The Parish Council would like to thank: our contractors The Freestyle Collective and architect Catherine Amos of Studio Amos. Also Sport England, Lindum Homes and Stirlin Developments for their funding contributions towards the project and council officers for their hard work in moving this project towards completion.

An official opening ceremony will take place in due course, but for now, please enjoy the park.
