Saxilby with Ingleby Neighbourhood Development Plan
NDP Review
The NDP is in the process of being reviewed, with a Steering (Working Group) made up of residents and councillors, working with a planner, leading the project.
As part of this process, a new Housing Needs Assessment and Design Code (formerly the Character Assessment) have been produced.
Funding for this process is from a Locality Grant and not the precept. The review began in 2023 and is expected to be completed by mid-2025.
The 2024 draft documents can be viewed below:

These documents will also be available to view at the final review meeting on 29 October 2024, at Saxilby Village Hall between 6pm and 8pm, and in Saxilby Library throughout the duration of the consultation period (28 October 2024 - 9 December 2024).
Feedback on the draft plan can be given by completing a comments slip in Saxilby Library, or by completing the online form here. You can also write to the Parish Clerk, or email admin@saxilbyparishcouncil.gov.uk with your feedback, with the subject line 'Neighbourhood Plan Draft Feedback'.
NDP (2017)
Saxilby with Ingleby Parish Council was selected as a neighbourhood planning front runner by the government to create a neighbourhood plan, supported by the local planning authority, West Lindsey District Council. A grant was received from the (then) Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) to fund the process. The plan was formally adopted by West Lindsey District Council at a Full Council Committee meeting on the 8 May 2017.
Within the plan are community identified projects. Since the plan has been made the council has been working with residents to progress the projects in a phased way. Progress to date includes a new play area on the memorial field and a new wheeled park. The Multi-Use Games Area project is progressing and Bridge Street Working Group has made excellent progress in the conservation area on Saxilby Waterfront.
